Introduction

Addit CRM documentation

Addit CRM is a fully-managed customer-relationship platform, operated for you by Tego. This guide explains how it's delivered, how your data is protected, how the platform is built, and how you integrate with it.

What is Addit CRM

Addit CRM is a managed CRM service. Tego runs a dedicated instance of Addit for your organization on secure cloud infrastructure and takes care of hosting, upgrades, backups, monitoring, and security. You get a modern CRM — contacts, companies, deals, tasks, and automations — without operating any of the underlying software yourself.

It is delivered as a service, not as a software download. There is no server for your team to install, patch, or scale — that responsibility sits with Tego under your service agreement.

● How to get access

Addit is provisioned by Tego — there is no self-service sign-up or free trial. Your instance is set up as part of an onboarding engagement. See How onboarding works.

Are we locked in?

Addit is a fully-managed service, operated by Tego. What you buy is a running, supported platform with guarantees around uptime, security, and your data, backed by an agreement with Tego. You don't host, run, patch or maintain any of it.

Teams evaluating a managed platform usually have one real question: "What happens if we want to leave?" The honest answer is that lock-in is about your data, not the software — and your data stays yours and portable at all times.

✓ What a managed service means for you

You own your data, and you carry none of the operational burden. You can export everything you put into Addit at any time, over the API or as files. A managed service changes who maintains the platform — it does not give Tego ownership of your records.

How onboarding works

Onboarding is a guided process run with your Tego contact. A typical engagement:

  1. Scope & provisionTego stands up your dedicated instance on its own database and storage, in your chosen region.
  2. Brand itYour name, logo, colours, sending domain and app domain are applied so the CRM is unmistakably yours.
  3. Import your dataExisting contacts, companies and history are migrated and validated with you.
  4. Configure the modelCustom objects, fields and pipelines are shaped to how your business actually works.
  5. Enable your teamUsers are invited, roles are set, and your team is trained.
  6. Go liveTego monitors the cutover; ongoing support and updates continue under your agreement.

● No trial, by design

Because every client runs an isolated, provisioned instance, access starts with onboarding rather than a self-service trial. That is exactly what makes the dedicated-instance and data-isolation guarantees possible.

First steps

Once your instance is live at your domain (for example tego.additcrm.com), sign in with the credentials from your welcome email and:

  • Confirm your workspace name, logo and colours in Settings → General.
  • Review the objects and fields Tego configured for you, and request any changes.
  • Set up your pipelines (deal stages, statuses) to match your process.
  • Connect your mailbox under Settings → Accounts to send and log email from Addit.

Inviting your team

Admins invite colleagues from Settings → Members. Each invitee receives a branded email from your Addit domain and joins with the role you assign. Roles control who can see and edit which records, so you can separate — for example — sales, support and finance access.

Data ownership & export

Your data belongs to you. Everything your team enters — contacts, companies, notes, files, activity — is your property under your agreement. Tego processes it to run the service on your behalf and does not sell it or use it to train shared models.

You can get your data out at any time:

  • API — read every record programmatically over REST or GraphQL.
  • Files — structured exports (CSV) of your objects on request or on a schedule.
  • Full extract — a complete export of your workspace at offboarding.

✓ No data lock-in

Portability is contractual: you can leave with a complete copy of your data. See Data portability & exit.

Per-client isolation

Every client runs on a separate instance with its own dedicated database. Your records are never mixed into a shared multi-tenant table with other companies' data. Isolation is a core part of the security model, not a paid add-on:

  • Dedicated application instance per client.
  • Dedicated database — cross-client queries are impossible by design.
  • Per-client storage and encryption keys.

Security

Addit is operated with defence-in-depth on managed cloud infrastructure:

  • Encryption in transit — all traffic over TLS 1.2+ with modern ciphers.
  • Encryption at rest — databases, backups and file storage are encrypted; sensitive fields use application-level encryption keys held per client.
  • Network isolation — databases run in private networks with no public access; administrative access is brokered through audited, short-lived sessions.
  • Least privilege — scoped credentials and per-client secrets; no shared master access to your data.
  • Role-based access — you control which of your users can see and change which records.

! Report a concern

Security questions or disclosures can be sent to hello@additcrm.com. Detailed architecture and security documentation is available under NDA for evaluations.

Compliance & privacy

Tego acts as a data processor for the personal data you store in Addit; you remain the controller. A Data Processing Agreement covering roles, sub-processors, security measures, breach notification and international-transfer safeguards is available as part of your contract.

  • Choose your hosting region for data residency during onboarding.
  • Support for data-subject requests (access, correction, deletion, export).
  • Defined retention and deletion on offboarding.

See the public Privacy Policy, Terms, and DPA.

Reliability & SLA

Your instance runs on redundant, health-checked infrastructure with automated recovery:

AreaWhat Tego provides
AvailabilityRedundant compute behind a load balancer with automated failover; target uptime defined in your SLA.
BackupsAutomated database backups with point-in-time recovery; encrypted and retained per policy.
Disaster recoveryDocumented restore procedures with defined recovery objectives.
MonitoringContinuous automated monitoring and alerting on health, performance and errors.
SupportNamed support channel and response targets per your plan.

Architecture & hosting

Addit is hosted on Amazon Web Services. For the technically-minded, each client instance is composed of:

  • Application & workers — containerized services on managed compute (AWS ECS Fargate), scaled and health-checked automatically.
  • Database — a dedicated PostgreSQL database (Amazon Aurora) in a private network, encrypted, with automated backups.
  • Storage — object storage (Amazon S3) for files and attachments, isolated per client.
  • Edge & TLS — a load balancer and managed certificates terminate HTTPS at your domain.
  • Email — transactional email is sent through a verified, DKIM-signed sending domain.

Infrastructure is managed as code, so every client environment is reproducible, auditable and consistent — which is what makes the isolation and reliability guarantees dependable rather than best-effort.

Updates & maintenance

Tego ships improvements and security fixes to your instance on a managed cadence, using rolling deployments designed for zero downtime. You are never asked to run an upgrade or patch a server. Significant changes are communicated in advance, and maintenance is scheduled around your needs where a window is required.

Integrations & API

Addit exposes first-class programmatic access so it fits into your existing systems:

  • REST & GraphQL APIs — read and write any object, authenticated with per-workspace API keys.
  • Webhooks — receive real-time events (record created/updated) to drive downstream systems.
  • Email & calendar — connect team mailboxes to send, log and sync communications.

API keys are issued from Settings → APIs & Webhooks. Integration scoping and custom connectors can be delivered by Tego as part of your engagement.

Workflows & automation

Addit includes a visual workflow engine to automate routine work. A workflow is a trigger → condition → action chain — for example, when a deal reaches a stage, send a branded email, create a follow-up task, and update a field.

  • Triggers — record created or updated, on a schedule, or via the API.
  • Conditions — branch on field values to keep automations precise.
  • Actions — send email, create/modify records, assign tasks, run code steps.

Tego can design and maintain workflows with you so automations match your operating model.

Data portability & exit

A managed service should be easy to leave — that's what makes it trustworthy. Your agreement guarantees:

  • Export on demand — a complete, structured copy of your data at any time.
  • Assisted offboarding — Tego provides a full extract and reasonable migration support.
  • Defined deletion — after handover, your data is deleted from the service per the agreed schedule.

✓ Your exit is contractual

Portability and deletion terms are written into the agreement, so continuity never depends on the relationship — only on the contract.

FAQ

Can we self-host Addit?

Addit is delivered as a managed service, so standard engagements are Tego-hosted. On-premise or dedicated-cloud arrangements can be discussed for specific compliance needs as a commercial matter.

What happens to our data if we stop using Addit?

You receive a complete export, and your data is then deleted from the service on the agreed schedule. See Data portability & exit.

Is our data shared with other clients or used for AI training?

No. Each client is isolated with its own database, and your data is not sold or used to train shared models.

What if Tego is unavailable?

Your data is exportable at any time and portability is contractual, so continuity does not depend on Tego. Continuity arrangements for organizations that require them can be discussed as part of a commercial agreement.

Can we customize Addit?

Yes — custom objects, fields, pipelines, workflows and integrations are configured for your instance. Deeper customization is delivered by Tego as part of your engagement.

Where is our data hosted?

On AWS, in a region you choose during onboarding for data-residency requirements.
